I need advice… (self.starbucksbaristas)

So i’m a 290 partner and I worked well over a year now for the siren. I transferred back in July to an amazing store but I just can’t stand the job anymore. The only thing keeping me is the people I work with. Anyways, I had an interview at First Watch to be a server and I got the job, but a couple days later I tested positive for covid so i’ve been isolating. I was supposed to put in my 2 weeks already but I can’t since i’m out sick. Should I stay with starbucks and hold on longer or take the leap and be a server?

take the leap. get out while you can. i just quit and i can’t finish my last few shifts quick enough. nothing is worth being treated the way we are by customers, management, and corporate. we’re not robots

Then you gotta ask yourself some questions. Which one has a greater growth potential, which has better benefits, which has a better work environment, how many hours will you get at the new job, how much are you being paid?

All of these factors decide which one you want. Decide what's important and what isn't.

Good luck
