i probably get yelled at most everyday over the lack of pumpkin. today i said the most straightforward/mean thing ive ever said to a customer. she asked me why we’re always out of pumpkin (with quite some attitude) and i basically gave a kinder version of “we get it once a week and EVERYONE wants it just as bad as you do so it sells out”. im just not sure why lack of pumpkin is worth leaving the line or screaming at a teenager

somethings in the air this week. customers have been so rude it’s absurd. three of my coworkers abandoned me and one other barista during a shift because they were having breakdowns. it was a sunday afternoon.
