Don’t put your two weeks in quite yet, if I were you I’d go to a personal doctor or psychiatrist if you have one and tell them I need a note excusing me for X amount of time off due to fatigue. Bring that in to your boss, write your sick time in the book, and after those 13 days have passed then go in, discreetly leave a sealed letter addressed to your manager with a stamp on it on the desk, inside will be your two weeks notice backdated for 13 of those days. If your manager is really that toxic and not understanding then I don’t see them allowing you to take those sick days off as part of your notice. I don’t see them giving it to you as a lump sum either. This way there’s technically a possibility of you returning to Starbucks if you wished to.

When they hit you up tell them you told them about it on X date. Probably won’t remember but will CYA. sneak 3000

If you want to be rehirable at Starbucks, you won't be able to use your sick pay for the two weeks. There's some trick about calling in sick every three days or something.

If you do want to work a two weeks they will add your sick pay and PTO on you final check. I would mention it to your SM though because I know of some partners who never received a final pay out of all the PTO they earned.

i will but she hates me so that’s why i’m kinda like :D what do i do. but thank you, i didn’t know this :)

They only pay out PTO, sick time doesn't get paid out.

i have another coworker who put in their two weeks and called in sick every day since. probably not a good move if he wants to be rehired but if you're willing to burn some bridges just call in mental health days
