There's a training schedule packet that tells you what to cover for each module. SM usually prints it.
Have them do the module on the computer/ipad, then teach them on floor. If you have more than 1 trainee, have one doing modules while you teach the other, then switch.
Usually it's spread out something like this:
Day 1: Customer Support
Day 2: Espresso Bar
Day 3: Cold Bar
Day 4: POS/Warming/Drive
Don't forget shaken espressos since the training modules haven't been updated with them.
Teach them the right way to add shots in fraps.
Try to explain sequencing drinks, but emphasise quality and routine over speed. If they're making things correctly, they'll get faster eventually.
