Does the regular cold foam still get vanilla?(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by notjustjazz
I had a coworker tell me the other day that the nonfat cold foam no longer gets vanilla and that our recipe cards are outdated but I'm having a hard time finding anything that says this online. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks!

The current recipe card available on corporate store iPads still has vanilla

I thought regular cold foam was just nonfat milk, period. No vanilla or anything.
Clearly, I'm about to have a date with all the recipe cards and training materials.

Nope, cold foam is nonfat and vanilla

Jeez I've been making some bland ass cold foam for so long.

Well shit. Everyone at my store is going to have a field day with that one. I pride myself on being the resident encyclopedia, and I can kind of be an ass about it.
I mean, I'm also the first to announce when I realize I've been wrong, and I always gracefully accept the roasting that comes with it, so. I guess it evens out?
I'm going to get it pretty bad for this particular one though! Whoops!

I'll be real: I was using vanilla before I read this but I always had that moment of "Wait, vanilla or no?" when I made cold foam and I'd been meaning to look it up but never got around to it. Thanks for posting!

Your store iPad has recipes, so does partner hub , if that helps

Not that the vanilla even makes a difference but as the rest of the thread said, yes
