You can request it and if you request early enough, there (hopefully) may not be too many more yet and your manager will give it to you. It's mostly luck, timing, and your relationship with your manager

To add on this, a lot of stores do sign ups for Thanksgiving and Chrismas. I'd check with your manager to be sure, but most stores have reduced hours on Christmas and try to be fair to people who have plans. A lot of people usually want to pick up all that extra holiday $$$ from split tips and time and a half.

Yeah. I've tended to see to sign ups where you can pick two holidays either to work/be off between thanksgiving and new years. Depends on the store of course
