even with cafe, dt, mobiles, and uber eats open i don’t care about window times. even if we’re fully staffed and fully capable of getting 30-40 seconds. i remember telling my old SM that not even a million dollars would make me care about window times enough to make the bar person work 10x faster and she was LIVID. i was never put on window when times mattered (peak) bc she knew i wasn’t going to actively make an attempt to lower the times and it wasn’t worth arguing about. i only start caring when cars have been sitting for 5+ minutes

yeah they don’t care at all after peak either 😂 but i start feeling bad if people are waiting 5+ minutes on one iced latte. if it’s multiple drinks i don’t stress over it. but even so i’m not demanding it right then, but rather just making sure the sticker wasn’t lost…i understand when it’s understaffed you have to do other things while on bar

Exactly. Just do what you can safely to avoid knocking anyone over. If Corp wanted it out faster, Corp would have more staff and stations to make more drinks at your location.

As a shift, I’ve never worried about DT times. I’ll help out DT/Bar or help by going on warming but to stress the baristas out with that BS is so funny to me. I laugh at how some shifts run things and it’s sad bc they end up burning themselves out more.

Seriously!! Cafe and mobile and have been out of this world terrible and they’re not scheduling enough people to have a dedicated cafe partner recently. We consistently have office workers order 20+ drinks in the cafe on top of having a line (and those ppl get angry they have to wait so long) while the drive thru is wrapped around the building. I think corporate is telling managers to schedule bare bones tbh
