What to do on halloween (self.starbucksbaristas)

On Halloween, I requested off because I will be out of town. I am only a part time partner and I am putting in my 2 weeks because I just can’t keep killing myself at the store, as well as working a full time job. My request was denied…I already have a trip out of town planned. I don’t think anyone will take the shift (it’s a 5:30-2) but I don’t want to leave them hanging. What do I do?

try to at least find someone who can cover it but if you can’t then just call out
