I know all the Starbucks employees on Reddit hate their jobs but... it looks fun I kinda do want to apply. The baristas are all so nice and seem cool. I want to be cool :^(

if you love coffee and you love meeting new people its pretty fun. but once youve been there for a couple years you start to see behind the curtain. they could drastically improve our lives with a few changes.

not this employee I absolutely LOVE my job and it *is* as fun as it looks, and some mornings is even more fun!
You probably live next to a really solidly-run store. My SM is amazing, competent, empathetic, and most he (1) **takes a genuine interest in the lives of his SSV's,** and is **kind & friendly to us & beyond understanding for personal circumstances.**
It shows beyond just how the store looks — one of my co-workers actually mentioned how much they enjoy work like I do. We also have really good regulars, good tips, and high connections in comparison to the rest of the district.

It’s not always bad, this is just a wonderful place to post negativity and be able to relate since we can’t do it elsewhere with our real names lol. I love the job, but sometimes it sucks based on location, holidays, etc. if you want to apply, I say go for it!

I would go through the camera footage, make note of who she was, print an invoice for the cost of the box, and then ban her from my store. People like this is why I have become a crazy cat lady and hate everyone.

OMG this happens to us too! If we aren’t constantly refilling the basket with bags of grounds, I’ll be doing my CS sweep of the store, and I’ll have to pick straw wrappers, stoppers, and sometimes even empty drink cups out of it! An absolute disgrace 😤

I didn’t recognize her, we are the only starbs around for a 30-40 min drive in a tourist town, we are always busy on fridays-sundays because of the nearby Marine Corps Friday graduations, and get a ton of rude tourists and family members swarming in. Hopefully we never see her again!

It looked like she decided to dump out some of her short coffee w/ cream so she could stir in some Splenda with a straw. She didn’t ask for room, just for cream in it and Splenda on the side. Then drank it and left the cup on the table and a random fork she asked for, and then everything else in our little mask bin 🥲
