California barista question for Ohio baristas (self.starbucksbaristas)

Question for Ohio baristas: how often do you get 10-minute breaks and 30-minute mealbreaks? If you have an 8-hour shift, do you get two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute unpaid break (as you do in California), or is the only break you get in an 8-hour shift one 10-minute break?
Hopefully that question wasn't too confusing, please let me know if you need any clarification! I know the handbook says we get one break every 4 hours, but since labor laws differ between states, I want to know what to expect before I move to Ohio! Thanks!!

The breaks run pretty much the same despite the difference in labor laws. So yes, for an 8 hour shift you would get two 10-minute breaks and a 30 minute break.

2 tens and a 30 for 7+ hour shifts and 1 ten and a 30 for 6 hr shifts. you get 1 ten for any shifts that are 5.5 hours or less.

When I worked in Ohio during college they didn’t have the 8 hour rule and they also don’t have the 6 day a week rule. Their labor laws are a lot more slack
