Just those stores; they're voting to certify the Workers United *Local* as a a bargaining representative.
Unions are organized out into local chapters which are then considered parts of the same organization rather than being one monolithic group. The workers in Buffalo are voting just about their local chapter.
They'll set a precedent with this vote, though: if it goes through, it'll help to fan the sparks of organization across the country and help to encourage more baristas to organize and force certification.
It's important to remember that Starbucks will do everything in its power to keep us from organizing. After all, "what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one? But, the Union makes us strong!"
Solidarity forever!

Talk to your coworkers about it. Keep track of communication because it's illegal to prohibit workers from Unionization.
