i need help/advise. a fellow partner has been sexually harassing me at work and this includes pet names, unwanted touching, unwanted gifts, flirting, and inappropriate contact. i have made this clear to a shift and this person told me that’s just how they are and i’m overthinking it. the partner approached me and apologized saying he was just trying to be nice and i accepted the apology but that was before they started to get close to me and make contact with my backside with their privates. this happens everyday and they are good hiding from me after they do this. what do i need to do now. please help me. i need advice on what to do, who to go to, how to report. all of their friends work at my Starbucks too so I’m afraid to speak up because of how everybody will react. Let me know what you guys think I should do.

Talk to your SM immediately. Let them know exact dates specific advances took place. Don't be vague on anything. They will get the DM involved and probably trigger an investigation from PRSC.

Contact your DM directly and call the partner help line too. It's not "just the way they are" its 100% sexual harassment and 0% acceptable. Don't wait on it, call as soon as you can.

Im so sorry this is happening to you.

As mentioned talk to your SM, who will likely contact your DM. You are not in the wrong and this is completely inappropriate, depending on the exact circumstances you may even file a police report. Even if your coworkers are rude after this, it is the right thing to do! You have a right not to be creeped on at work, and hopefully the consequences of his harassment will cause him to not do this again to you or anyone else. Also, I would recommend subtly filming/voice recording any interactions with him on your phone if you can, so that if you ever need proof you have it. You can also keep like a written track of what he did on which shift.

I am really sorry. I hope this gets resolved as quickly and easily as possible. And if things don’t work out after you report I wish you luck finding a new job ❤️

this is happening at my store too with one of our ssv. gather all evidence you possibly can with dates and times. ask other partners if they have had similar experiences and get statements from them with dates and times and tell your manager or ssv immediately. tell them everything. i know it’s scary but i know u can do it and u will be helping so many other partners from not experiencing that. im so sorry and u have my love and support 🤎

I am glad that this worked in your situation but I don’t think this is an option for OP especially because they said they were scared to speak up!!
