you can try to negotiate your pay when you get hired but it’s pretty unlikely. i’ve seen it happen once with a shift supervisor and really just created a bad atmosphere when everyone found out

It’s not impossible. But you’ll have to really push for it before you’re hired on.

I started higher then the starting rate for my area and I bet it's because of my past work experience.

not based on experience but pay does differ based on how many years youve been with the company
