Oh. Homie. At my store, there’s 3 people who *constantly* call out. You’re literally fine.

Same here, my store had to close down at 7pm tonight (we normally close at 9:30) because we were down 3 people. It’s been happening like this for the past month. Nothin we can do about call outs. But yeah if you’re dependable, work hard and rarely call out it shouldn’t be an issue. They’re probably not mad at you specifically it could just the stress of having to try to find someone to cover. My store has a couple of people who like to call out constantly though and it screws us some days..

if you’re a good partner, managers will always be annoyed considering how many of the baristas are either new or still have no idea what’s going on
