Can’t make everyone happy, especially stupid people.

You just have to think of it like this... most people who write a bad review had one bad experience. But most people don't write a review for a good experience. So think of all the people who had a good experience after you helped them... and keep it up. You can't please everyone (especially not if there's a language barrier)!

People like this feel powerless in their own lives and flex on the service industry to feel better. Doesn't make it easier in the moment, I know, but you got this.

I consider the bad personal reviews a badge of honor. That they would expend so much time effort and energy into you. It’s heartwarming in a twisted way; that they thought about you so much!
Regardless, take it on the chin and push through it. Odds are you’ll never see them again so why should you care?

I had an old lady come through the drive thru. there was a food truck in the background so I could barely hear her. She called the store on me to complain I questioned the way she ordered the drink. I was just repeating it. 🙄

Hey don't feel bad.
I had a guy complain about me to the manager at my last corporate store, in front of me, because I didn't know who he was and what drink he wanted. Literally said "fucking new people, man." I turned around and told him I'd been a barista for three years and knew what I was doing tyvm. Embarrassed the heck out of him lmao.
Try not to feel bad when people complain about you; most times it's just people being petty or rude over little things that don't matter. (But if you get the opportunity to make them regret complaining about you, do it. That dude didn't mess with me at all after that lol)
