It would be fine if it was literally JUST holiday launch. Launch days in general are not much busier than normal in my opinion because nobody realizes it’s a new season yet. It’s the FREE RED CUP part of it that gives me nightmares. Karens throwing fits when we run out over a plastic cup that they will leave in their cabinet for years

As soon as my manager said that she completed the staffing for the 4th I went into the partners hours and printed off the DCR for that day so I could take it home and plan out the day. I open on that day and I am not going in blind. She over staffed us thank god and every partner with the exception of one has been at my store for at least four months and is competent in any position. I’ve been ready for the 4th for a week now.

Hell no 🥲 Last year was not too bad even when I had to work 5/5 of the holidays. Cause of the pandemic, at least we closed the lobby so only DT and since we didn’t have enough ppl on floor, my former SM at that time did turn off delivery and mobile later of the day. But this year we’re fully open and our temporary SM is just a silly goose, I even sign up 3/5 and to make sure she won’t force me to work on the other 2, I have put in request off on those days 🥲🥲🥲🥲 And no am not ready for this year holiday launching despite the new pay rate 💀

Our dm told our manager that our tarbux won’t be getting any holiday merchandise by launch (besides the free red cups) “unless a miracle occurs” so

Our DM approved us to not do any cafe orders that day due to being short staffed and having all our orders come in that day so I think it’ll be a bit more manageable lol
