I can relate… especially on the misgendering. It happens daily for me. At this point, I just roll with it because honestly I just want to give them their coffee and have them on their way. Any correction to them on my part is just belaboring the point. I know not to seek validation from strangers (I don’t even get it from my family). But if I’m gendered correctly (without asking), it makes my day!
