Ah yes, I love when lobby customers look around at each other in disgust and go “can you believe this? I came here for a cup of coffee” and then scoff at you. I’m actually so excited for work today

Let me know how many people come in saying, "Why is it taking so long?" Or "I have to be at work in X amount of time."

I literally couldn’t even keep track. I was on cold bar and I over heard the partner on front bar saying sorry to a customer for the wait. Her response, “not as sorry as I am.” My jaw dropped. You’re all standing in the lobby looking pissed at us. LOOK AROUND! If starbucks gave two shits about their employees, mobiles wouldn’t be on right now.

Nice. We should have a federal holiday where people in the service industry get to tell customers how they really feel about them without any reprisals. I would work a 20 hour shift that day.
