Do returning partners get the wage hike? (Canada) (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi! I quit Starbucks in July 2021 after being hired in 2019, and decided to return this November 2021. I saw the news about the pay raise in Canada and noticed it said it applied to partners hired before Jan 1, 2021. I'm wondering if that applies to me, since I'm a returning partner, or if my leaving negates my eligibility?

I am a U.S. partner (209xxxx) and I did the same thing. I was hired in 2015, left in March 2020 but just got rehired. The articles don’t specify about consecutive time.

probably not. when you quit they scrap your partner numbers and such, so i’d assume you’re technically a new hire in the system. i live in the us, so this may not be completely accurate, but for your sake, i hope you get the pay raise anyway!!

I quit in March and rehired in Sept at a different store. I kept my partner numbers! But there’s probably fine print saying something about “consecutively”somewhere.
