Someone asked for a strawberry cappuccino? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I was flexing on bar and front so I took her order. She said clearly and confidently strawberry cappuccino. I asked if it was supposed to be Frappuccino for clarification and she said no strawberry cappuccino. I told her we don't have strawberry syrup or flavor only strawberry puree. She said that was fine but also seemed as confused as I was. I got told to take a ten after taking the order and warned my other barista about the drink and she made exactly that. A hot cappuccino with strawberry puree in it 😬 I went away before I knew if thats what she truly wanted.

I steamed SAR once. Worst thing I ever tasted at Starbucks with the exception of juniper syrup lmao. Idk if the coconut milk would help that flavor

I would like to know if she heard of that somewhere or did she make it up on the spot? Also the thought of adding the purée to the shots grosses me out. I’d consider swirling it into the milk after steaming. Someone’s going to have to try it and report back. Would it need some classic too?

Hear me out(I've tried so many combos and this seems to work best) strawberry white mocha made with blonde shots and coconut milk. It's legit the only thing that doesn't have me running to the bathroom 10 minutes after I drink it.

I had a Strawberry Cold Brew couple months ago, by a different coffeeshop chain. I was so surprised because I didn't hated it immediately, actually I'm still not sure how I liked it. But a warm cappuccino... I don't know about that lol

Barista here. I asked, as a joke, for a strawberry heavy cream latte. My coworker was INSISTENT on actually making it, so he did. It truly wasn’t terrible but we both decided that it did need classic. After a while however, it settled into a gelatinous glob which wasn’t so nice 🙃
