Do they pay out sick time? Sm says they only pay vacation, so I asked to use my sick time for the shifts I got covered in my last 2 weeks and they said it’s not allowed (fraud).
I can’t remember if I got mine paid out the first time I quit but that was also in another state. Anyone have experience or somewhere I can find out?

When I quit in June I told my manager I was going to call out for my last few shifts if he didn’t pay out my sick time (I never called out in 4 years). I’m sure he could have gotten in trouble for it but it’s not fair that I’m never sick therefore can never use the time off I accrue without calling out.

Left two months ago. Lost 70ish hours in sick time. Was kinda annoyed I couldn’t work up the will to defraud the company after nearly five years.
I checked the hub before I left, and I don’t remember where I found the info, but they don’t pay out unused sick time. They do pay out unused vacation hours.

That’s how much I have too. Because I literally never call out and am always there, I’ve earned it and now I can’t have it. At least let me use it to cover the shifts >:(
