I got a plain white t-shirt and splattered it with red food dye. My plan is to be *super suspicious*, like someone asks "what are you dressed up as?" and I say "dressed up? I'm not dressed up".

Someone asks if I have Halloween plans and I say "oh, I'm going to go to the grave- I mean.... Going to stay home watching spooky films :)"

Also as a side note, I'm hoping people will be less rude if I'm literally covered in "blood".

ETA: downside is that I can be a bit weird about blood so if I see myself in the mirror I might pass out, I think it's worth it though
