The amount of times I've had to tell customers that we don't have coffeemate creamers is truly astounding. (self.starbucksbaristas)

No more to that thought. I've just had a lot of customers ask me for coffeemate stuff and me having to explain that we don't do that. I don't think even dunkin does that.

Yes, customers trying to tell me a number of creamers to add. This too: rolling up to the window, guy with his mama in the passenger seat, "Y'all don't have FLAVORED CREAMERS?" I should have just said "Sorry, no" and I will next time. Instead I told them we add flavor with syrup and got mama another pike with hazelnut in it (this is a while ago) but then she said it was cold. so we got her another one. Meanwhile sonny gets his caramel frappuccino and wants to know why it looks so "plain" where is all the stuff? obviously he really wants the caramel crunch. so bar partner makes that. It was a 7 minute learning experience for me to just say, "Sorry, no,"

If someone wants a flavored creamer, I do the following: explain that our cream is just a half and half gallon we pour in, let them know the syrups, and offer them sweat cream but explain that its heavy whipping cream w/ vanilla. Ive only had one customer ask me to mix cream with a syrup on the cup on the side to pour in/ make their own “flavored creamer”. Ive had a couple people take the sweat cream and enjoy it, but mostly people just accept cream and some syrup in the coffee itself.

Oh yeah no i do that too. The customers i have are a very special breed of customer who, even after explaining, still get upset about it.
