Is it possible to pick up shifts in another state?(self.starbucksbaristas)

So long story short my store is gonna be closed for two weeks for remodelling and i would love to go help some family in another state would it be possible to work while up there?
Given appropriate notice of course

you would have to do a transfer to work in a different district. doable, but prob too much work for just two weeks.

No you can’t if it’s very short term like a couple day. It’s also not worth as you may have to file taxes in that state depending on their tax laws.

I’ve worked in a different state before. A store in Arizona (I live in Cali) really needed help and I was allowed to go for a weekend. Had to pay for my own hotel, but was reimbursed for that and also paid for the drive there and back.
