Or, at least, that was the plan. Lol. It’s kind of a touch and go kind of thing lately. We’re just going with wherever the wind is blowing at the moment. But yes, normally it’s an annual thing at the beginning of each year. Back in the day it actually used to be every six months and was based on your performance review. But they don’t do performance reviews any more and they changed the pay raises because they claimed that it made it more fair because then your manager can’t play favorites since they’re the ones who did your reviews. Which, I kind of get that reasoning, but it also sucks that you could literally be the hardest working and most dedicated partner and your raise will be the same as the lazy partner who never shows up on time and doesn’t even try.
