submitted by lexifreda
i have these jeans i want to wear and they have small holes where my knees are. if my apron covers them would i be allowed to wear them?

unfortunately no. regardless of what your apron covers, we're not meant to wear pants with rips or tears in them. i know it sucks, most of jeans are ripped and patchy because i like them that way.

thank you! i saw green bean wearing them yesterday so i thought id ask but oh well...

Standard Answer: No.

Real Answer: It really just depends on who your manager is. The dress code is enforced strictly at some stores and not strictly at others. It also sometimes varies by shift. At my old store, the night shift could get away with hoodies, bright colors, graphics tees, but none of that would fly in the morning.

My Manger and regional dont care as long as the apron covers the hole but it is against dress code. Honestly I would ask cause some stores are strict about dress code and other's aren't.

Technically you can't wear it but........ usually if your apron covers it and you keep your apron on (I rarely wear mine 😂) they don't care

No but I mean if you don't let anyone see you without an apron I guess they wouldn't know lol

Company policy says no tears or holes in your jeans so technically no but some managers are more lenient with dress code than others so I would ask your SM if it’s okay!

I tried to get away with this too, but the next day my SM told me very calmly but firmly it’s against policy. Then again my store is huge on dress code, but it’s better to just stick to it so you won’t get coached.
