Does anyone know if we are able to buy the red aprons from coffeegear? (self.starbucksbaristas)

My store didn't get enough red aprons to go around so they said we have to share and I'd rather just get my own

Nope - they always send maybe 3-4 per store, if that, and are intended to be shared. At least, it's been this way since maybe 2017?
My first Christmas with Starbucks, we got 2 red aprons, and were told that the only people who were allowed to wear them were CS and POS. If you were on Bar or Warming, you weren't allowed to wear it because it could get dirty. Lmfao

What? I worked Christmas last year and I was just hired at the end of October and every partner (we had about 30) got two new red aprons. I still have both of mine.

The update several weeks ago said that every store would get 20. Of course this might have been the same update that said the red cups would be in on time no matter what.

It's possible that they're trying to change things up a bit, but 2-3 per store was how I always experienced it!
They barely did any sort of SWAG when I worked at a corporate-owned store. No pins, no t-shirts, no new aprons to keep... Not to mention prices on coffeegear are absolutely ridiculous lmao

Just take one and hide it in the store or bring it home then to every shift for yourself. Seen AND heard many partners do this in the past.

I don’t know if things are different right now because of shortages and covid, but at least previously, your manager could 100% order however many they wanted for whoever and even get them embroidered with each person’s name. I don’t think there’s another place to get them, but I don’t really believe that the manager can’t order more unless there are extenuating circumstances this year. The holidays are for like 2 months. If they want us to wear them, then it’s worth it to get one for each barista, and they might just be being cheap or lazy when saying they “can’t” order more.
