Should I quit? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by [deleted]
I just feel like this job isn’t worth minimum wage. I’m dreading going into work in the morning. I like my coworkers but.. I don’t know.

The only thing really weighing in is using my benefits for a therapist appointment, but with the hours I work I can’t even get one. It also plays a big part on my mental health declining.

What should I do?

I did. I love my coworkers but I walked in today, and I just couldn’t do it. They had more than enough people (that never happens, so I guess I got lucky) so I took it as my chance.

I left and it was soooooo healthy for me. The abuse of customers and stuggling so much at work while doing the work of 2-4 people, and seeing your partners struggle doing the same is definitely not worth it. It may seem hard or scary to start over, but just jump and do it! It'll get better 💖

I quit! There was a Karen and I just walked out, along with another girl. I love my coworkers but it just isn’t worth minimum wage, you know? Maybe if they paid more but.. yeah not with this pay lol. I can go work at a “literally do nothing” job for the same pay.

Like, I don’t care if your hot chocolate isn’t 190 degrees because of the whip. Tf am I supposed to do lol, the whip makes the sips colder?
