Tell them!

Or….make their micromanagement a game and have them over explain everything. Either way, it sounds like you probably aren’t going to be there much longer if something doesn’t change.

Wanna see their heads explode? Ask them how many pumps of macchiato goes in a venti ACM.

totally tell them. I would just be like “hey! I know i’m new to your store, but i’ve worked at starbucks for x amount of time so i know what i’m doing, and if I have any questions i’ll ask them”

Why would you not stop the miscommunication and just tell them? Its a part of being a human to stand up for yourself. Or you'll get walked over forever

lol i’ve had this happen very recently. i went from a corporate (worked there 2 years) to a licensed store at target. i didn’t want to “flex” i was an experienced partner but i was doing very well on bar and everyone was asking “isn’t today your first day?”. someone else saw me making cold brew and i didn’t know how to work the grinder and they walked me through the whole process… i did eventually tell them tho lol.
just be honest. they’ll appreciate it and will utilize your preferred spot (hopefully).
but don’t use 100% of your energy/ focus ever because a corporate store will plant you on one spot every shift based on productivity.
