My store has always been decorated, we recently just decorated it for halloween. Our asm just told us we had to take it all down because it isn’t allowed. Now we’re being told we can’t decorate for christmas because it’s offensive. They’ve been decorating this store for forever so i don’t know what happened

Can't decorate for Christmas bc it's offensive says the company that sells gift cards, packaged food and merch w Christmas trees, decor, etc etc on em. Hm

Exactly what i’ve been saying. It’s ridiculous, my poor coworker spent over $100 on christmas decorations just to be told they can’t put it up

My dad always said never spend your own money on a company that is not your own. People like that who go the extra mile are almost always taken advantage of and then screwed over when most convenient. Tell your coworker that I feel for them and I hope they can use those decorations elsewhere ❤️

It’s a corporate directive to make all stores the same. that way no one feels special and won’t ask for special treatment in terms of the barista experience.

I’ve never heard of stores not being able to be decorated and tbh if it’s your ASM telling you this I would still ask your SM? because technically it wouldn’t be offensive if you’re decorating for the holidays since most religions have a celebratory holiday coming up in either Nov or Dec
