Also, I'm the only mod and like to keep it simple for myself. When it comes to "internal" stuff, as long as it isn't actual photos of the stuff, it's fine. The policy does literally say *images* so... fuck it.
Besides, Starbucks probably likes the "word-of-mouth" style of marketing over leaking images since it makes the brand a household name rather than a computer flashing some colours at you.

Plus, Starbucks doesn't want use taking pics of like recipe cards to post. But is totally happy if I read a recipe card to a customer so they can customize it

I’m pissed bc I got a vaca day for the original red cup day and now that they moved it, it’s too late to take a vacation day for the rescheduled day. This company is a shady piece of shit.

I mean, it’s not anything to do with the company. The cups are backed up in the shipping system… it’s not our fault the cups are delayed. It is frustrating, I agree with that. But it was not anticipated nor planned.

It actually is, they should’ve been stocking up a long time ago, since we’ve had shortages for like over a year…. It’s called planning ahead, something this company really seems to fail at.

I volunteered to take the window that day knowing everyone will be pissed. I'm 35 and bulletproof I will deal with these Karen's way better than the kids I work with. (They've started calling me the Boomer Whisperer lol)

They were talking about this at my store. I think we’re still giving them out Thursday. I’m not sure but I also don’t care cause I don’t work morning so they’d be gone by the time I start anyways.

yeah the weekly update said that the reasoning is because not every store would be getting the red cups in time because of shipping delays but I was talking to my SM about how dumb it is for them to tell us to tell customer to “stay tuned” because lord knows they’re going to already be mad at us and a “stay tuned” is probably not what they want to hear
she said she thinks they might have to postpone the red cup launch again if the shipping gets delayed further and *THATS* why they truly don’t want us to give another specific date well that *AND* that basically gives The Siren 2 holiday launches
