Alright, this isn't what you should expect but here's a pro tip
Since we're only offering the holiday cups to grande size and above, to avoid confusion say "would you like to upgrade to a grande to get a free holiday cup?" if they're ordering a tall of any qualifying drinks.

We don’t know when we get special cups or what they are going to be. Best bet is Amazon or eBay. The only reason we know about the holiday cups is cuz it’s an annual release with a discount

Yeah, apparently I hit a nerve asking? I didn't even know about the cups until y'all talked about them on here. Then I Googled and saw that I missed a bunch last year. One set I'm interested in is $38 right now. I'd prefer to just get the new ones with the stars I have built up.
I usually avoid the stores during what y'all describe as busy times. I have a store that I like in the middle of my town that no one seems to realize is open. So they have merchandise weeks and months after release. I didn't mean to offend so many folks on here by asking a question, but I greatly appreciate you taking the time to respond.

it’ll be busy from the second you guys open to close. also since red cup day was pushed back instead of coinciding with the holiday launch, expect some (a lot of) pissed off customers when you don’t hand them a cup :’)

Another tip: Go into your inventory markout system on the POS and mark out all merchandise. For some dumb effing reason last year on release day starbucks decided itd be a good idea to let people order tumblers and stuff on the mobile app. Needless to say I gave out a crap load of refunds on launch day and had a lot of angry customers. Thanks alot bux🙄

With the red cup day being postponed AND a shortage of base for frappuccinos, it's bound to be a wild day. When customers find out we can't make fraps and they won't get a free cup, they're gonna be pissed. Just do your best and remember not to take anything personally. It's not your fault we don't have stuff and the customer just doesn't know where to direct their annoyance. Don't take it personally is my best piece of advice. Good luck! The day should go by fast, at least, with how busy it will be!
