This happened to me too right after getting partner of the quarter. I walk 2mi to work everyday and was doing it during heat advisories, i got not sympathy when i came in and almost passed out. Instead i was given a write up. My District Manager just said “well there is no grace period”. There should be for people who literally walk to work in inclement weather and work their butts off. But hey 2minutes late is still late.

Absolutely not. I’m pretty sure we have a 5-10 min late policy(could be wrong, but it’s what we’ve always done at my store) AND your first corrective action should almost always be a verbal coaching, if it’s still an issue you get a written warning and then if it’s still an issue you get a write up. If my manager ever pulled that shit I wouldn’t sign it and I would ask for a meeting with SM&DM to talk about the issue. That’s some shit your SM pulled 🤮
