Lol that sounds a little mean. Maybe they said it as incentive, but it usually isn’t a requirement as far as I know. It’s going through the training, knowing the drinks and answering the knowledge checks that should be asked by a ssv/asm/sm.

it's not a requirement, maybe they just wanted to be sure you were prepared in turn to receive one. A lot of stores didn't receive a lot this year- my store was kind of whoever opens holiday got one, and anyone whose been here for a while will receive one as well. Not sure if that helps at all!

I’ve never heard of that lol. I got my red apron from a friend who “retired” but I remember going in to open last year and there just being a pile of them. I’m assuming your store didn’t receive a lot, so it’s probably to do with that.

Just find one and take it. That’s what I did.
