what?? are you sure you’re not talking about the $20+ reusable cups (the pretty ones on shelves)? because if that target is handing out the grande sized hot red plastic cups then they’ve definitely missed an update
also wanted to add: someone came in at open today and bought $530 worth of cups, new and old

Y’all didn’t hear about the Disney 50th anniversary cup x Starbucks where there was an actual brawl over? This is normal for every release… one person goes really early, sweeps the shelves, and resales them for $60 a pop. Leaving nothing for other people, it’s why the cup thing has gotten so bad, and it’s why they call so often… SOME (not all) baristas even get in on it and will sweep shelves in front of people waiting outside. It’s why some people will accuse baristas of hiding cups… it’s wrong to do so- but they think all barista’s do that after some experiences.
Starbucks wont step in about this but they should institute limits on the cups honestly at this point, for both baristas and their (not scalpers) customers.
