Like the title says, I got three holiday cups right at open since we weren’t busy (I started at 4am), and now all of the cups are gone. It’s only been a couple of hours! I kept two and bought one for my coworker because she wouldn’t be sent on her break soon enough to get it.

Yeah, it’s just that so many people want the cups and get so sad when they find out there aren’t any. I just have a fascination with pink things, so when I saw the pink straw cup (not the color changing one) I really wanted it. I found the opal studded one to be really pretty, and my coworker wanted the emerald green one, but wouldn’t get a break soon enough to secure it. So I bought it for her.

I didn’t work today and bought one of the red ones at a different sbux location early in the morning. They had a lot in stock there and didn’t feel bad. The only thing stopping me from buying more was judgment from my parents.

Nope. Sold half mine to my partners and when I got a FedEx shipment of new ones mid DM visit my DM helped me put it all out then bought one of them before even shelving it. A sale is a sale.

Lol no. I remember when I worked at the Bux how partners would literally buy the new season stuff as we were sorting through them to set it up lol. I was a shift and didn’t care and it seems the other shifts didn’t care either. The job demands so much why not enjoy the little perks?

I am a barista and I always take 1-2 cups every launch. One for myself, one for my mom, MIL, or sisters. Do NOT feel bad when some of the customers do not consider us at all. We are underpaid, and as many others have already mentioned, it is one of the few perks of working at SBUX. :)

Yeah let's not encourage this type of behavior. I think it's fantastic when employees get the merch as well but this doesn't help the already awful problem of cute Starbucks merch being bought and resold at absurd amounts.
