it’s almost like customers have NO type of holiday cheer or anything??? was on window today and immediately greeted “good morn-“ and interrupted with “20 CENT INCREASE??? BECAUSE OF THE HOLIDAYS????” and then another complaint…and another…and another. if starbucks is too expensive for y’all then don’t! come! here!

For real I had a customer tell me today I was wrong when her drink cost more. I don't order her beverage of choice so I had no mental frame of reference for the price increase, plus I just paid twice my usual cost for raw chicken at home and my groceries are hundreds of dollars more a month now. I just shrugged at her and said they must have raised the price. The next person could tell something weird went down and tipped us well. It was a long day.

i handed out an iced coffee to a customer- just an iced coffee standard. they asked for cream on the side and said something about sugar? so i handed them a side of cream and sugar. they looked at the sugar comepletly dumbfounded, and began yelling and said they wanted the sugar INSIDE the coffee (without even tasting it yet). i said “it comes standard with classic” and they just continued to have an attitude with me before snatching the cream out of my hand…?

yes, oh my god. and even with the price increase we're busier than ever! i'm convinced starbucks customers have bottomless wallets... had someone spend $40 on cake pops alone today :/

I just say something along the lines of “yes, we raised our prices and we get to keep ALL that money!” Then I say, “I don’t know how much power you think I have here. I just make the coffee, and we do NOT get a raise when prices rise. Please stop yelling at me.”

Yep we had a lady who I hate anyway bitch about it. When the new person told her the total she was like "that's not right did you raise your prices?" We said yes and she was not happy
