A customer can't drink coffee because of the acidity of the coffee beans but wanted to try the Irish cream cold foam? Any suggestions?
Maybe a tea, or tea latte? Just no coffee beans
UserNoUsername69 points1y ago
you could always just give them a sample (pup cup/short cup?) size of the cold foam, and let them decide what they think it would taste good on, or whether they like it in the first place
drinkliquidclocks54 points1y ago
Just let her try it in a sample cup for free so she can taste it. Imo it's intended to go on coffee so it won't taste good on anything else like the plain VSCF does
KillrLizrd11 points1y ago
imho the vsccf tastes great on a pink drink, but idk how the irish cream would taste on it
drinkliquidclocks7 points1y ago
I just don't like the taste of the Irish cream, the only time I could personally drink it is on the cold brew because the strong coffee taste cuts it
KillrLizrd9 points1y ago
i think that's the appeal of most of the syrups and foams. they're made to mox with coffee for people who don't like coffee.

milk with mocha and irish cream foam??
okayishsamaritan9 points1y ago
Yes, this or with white mocha! Or maybe a bit of both
Osi_Bro9531 points1y ago
I would recommend it with an iced London fog latte. But that drink would be awful to make during peak.
Westleybestley5 points1y ago
This was gonna be my suggestion too! It actually sounds pretty good

Irish steamer. Steamed milk with Irish cream syrup
sero50745 points1y ago
Yes this!!
mama_bibi25 points1y ago
Cold brew is actually the least acidic of coffee. Because of the cold brewing process the acidity is much less. It's actually a perfect recommendation for people that have acid reflux and what not

^^
RICKYOURPOISIN2 points1y ago
True I’ve been loving my cold brews all throughout pregnancy because it’s the one time I can enjoy coffee without deadly reflux
mama_bibi2 points1y ago
Omg when I was pregnant I got heart burn alllllll the tiiiiiiiime. It was so annoying. I was constantly eating mustard to get rid of it. No morning sickness or nausea. Just heart burn. And his feet in my ribs every night 😂
C0ffeeCoffeeC0ffee24 points1y ago
I think just making it the same but with black iced tea instead of cold brew would work fine
OreoBaconFries14 points1y ago
honestly chai and the irish cream syrup tastes just like butterscotch!
august40113 points1y ago
iced london fog maybe?
Grouchy_Arugula725710 points1y ago
Skinny hot chocolate with Irish cream cold foam would be ace.
tenthwalker5 points1y ago
We don't have skinny mocha anymore
Grouchy_Arugula72579 points1y ago
Sorry maybe it's a British expression. I meant skinny milk as in skimmed milk since mocha sauve and cold foam would be quite heavy on the stomach already
JammyMochi9 points1y ago
Maybe some sort of tea latte like a matcha or chai?
iced_coffee_guy8 points1y ago
My toddler loves pumpkin cream cold foam so for a treat I get him a grande milk with a couple pumps of pumpkin topped with pumpkin cream cold foam. He likes it a ton - not sure if your customer would like something like that. Perhaps with Oat Milk etc.
KikiDelRio6 points1y ago
As mentioned below, mocha would be a nice pairing. I also think the dark caramel or caramel brulee would pair quite well. Lately, it has been posh to put cold foam on hot drinks but the foam dissipates so quickly it seems like a waste of effort. I would recommend cold milk or frappuccinos instead.
crkybnsjr1 points1y ago
tru but cold foam on frappes is tricky like u gotta eat it w a spoon
KikiDelRio1 points1y ago
Totally true lol with the new straws, eating frappuccinos with a spoon is more desirable than drinking them through collapsable paper straws.
crkybnsjr1 points1y ago
...bestie what straws do u gotttt 😭 ours are supposedly the new ones and they're biodegradable but feel closer to plastic than paper
KikiDelRio2 points1y ago
Oooh! I think you might have the upgrade of what we are working with. We have paper straws that degrade after a few minutes in a frappuccino. I have had many customers return their frappuccinos to us to show that their straw was lost inside....not cute.
Accomplished_Chef_145 points1y ago
You could put it on an iced London fog
jazminxx5 points1y ago
Maybe over an iced black tea? Or an iced royal English breakfast tea (has favor notes of being malty…)?
jycurtiss4 points1y ago
I was gonna say blact tea, english or like a londonfog with earl grey :):)
Dr_mombie4 points1y ago
London fog?
Paul-Michel3 points1y ago
It would be really good on chocolate milk or an iced chai
TylerJ7163 points1y ago
Hot chocolate with the foam??
mx1_jawbreaker3 points1y ago
how about a hot chai latte with the irish cream cold foam?
Christyawn3 points1y ago
chai with the foam is amazing
mariahcampa2 points1y ago
I’m not going to lie, it sounds so gross, but it’s so delicious on a strawberry acai refresher
wunderkyn2 points1y ago
I think someone mentioned it here before, but we’ve done it with peach tranquility and it was pretty good.
GrafixCard252 points1y ago
Tea or water lmao
zydr8te6 points1y ago
Black tea
Corvantis1 points1y ago
Irish Cream Cold Foam on an iced Black Tea with Vanilla syrup is *chef's kiss*
potatopoisoning1 points1y ago
Venti cold milk, add mocha (or white mocha!), shake with ice like a green tea latte, top with Irish cream cold foam.
staywithmetyler1 points1y ago
iced matcha tea latte with irish cream foam!
Various-Feedback65951 points1y ago
If she’s asking for Irish cream cold foam (with the syrup in the cf) it would taste really good on top of an iced hot chocolate. It’s also really good on an iced London fog but imo only with oatmilk. Also good on chai with brown sugar and oatmilk and we’ve had customers experimenting with the IC syrup recently and this one is popular. If she is asking for how it’s supposed to be made tho, unless they changed the recipe, the Irish cream cold brew just has sweet cream cold foam with a slash of coco powder on top, and that would go fine on chai lattes or really anything VSCCF goes good on. Hope this helped :)
msvl4191 points1y ago
Wait -is Irish cream cold brew back? I thought it was only a seasonal drink around St. Paddy's day.
staywithmetyler2 points1y ago
it is out rn! itll be available throughout the whole holiday season
msvl4192 points1y ago
This made my day! Thanks!
YorkTownBratty1 points1y ago
Maybe it would be good on chai?
