Can you imagine having to Solo-bar on the day of a holiday launch, and it's only your FIRST Holiday Launch? Yeah that was me yesterday 🥲. And then during all of this, I was thrown into training a new partner and I had literally just finished my barista trainer iPad training an hour before. Enough about me, how did launch go for you guys?

got put on CS and started making whips (cause that is what the person on drive bar needed most when i asked her). my ssv came into the back where i was making them and told me to get on the floor and actually do something. i asked what should i do on the floor and they said restocking and backups. but whips are backups??

Holiday launch was my first time on bar as well! And due to a staffing issue, I was the only one for atleast 3 hours! I learned how to sequence real quick. Was on bar every day after that.

Business for our morning/mid crew was “so slow” they sent multiple people home yet didn’t have time to stock or make cold brew or clean anything?? Night crew was slammed with just the 4 of us doing our job plus what the others could have gotten done while they were “so slow they were bored.”

This was also my first holiday with solo barring. Plus! They never scheduled me for the holiday bar training bit, so I had to look up all the drinks on the iPad 😥
