Hey, I went to a non-corporate Starbucks at my college. I asked for my sandwich toasted twice because it’s always cold in the middle. Is this a normal requests? She tries to get me to not have it extra toasted because they apparently got a new oven that is over 1000°.

They literally just gave us new buttons on the registers for Extra Toasted and Toasted Open Faced because they're such common requests

Ask for it toasted open faced. You'll get better results and that silly barista won't give you a hard time about a "new" oven.

Barista doesn’t know what they’re talking about they can literally throw it in the oven and press 2 instead of 1, maybe word it that way instead of saying to double toast it?

Our ovens are not 1000 degrees, that’s insanity. They’re at 550 max. The extra toasted is a super common request. We even have a person that asks for her bagel toasted 3x
