People don't often get separation letters from Starbucks, which makes me wonder if it came from Sedgewick? Sedgwick gets things wrong a lot. If the reasoning had to do with you not maintaining your documentation for leave of absence correctly when you did, or refusing to come back to work but no one asked you to come back, or your manager had agreed to a date in the future, tell your manager. Mine had to fight to reinstate a partner that Sedgewick terminated without warning while on a leave, no notice or questions to the manager at all about it. Both the partner and our manager were like, "wait what??"

Same. The interim manager decided I was “acting like a child” and “not interacting appropriately with the people younger than me” and fired me without even letting me try to explain myself? 95% of the staff was younger than me by quite a bit, and I’m only 30. This was also the same woman that got so mad at me when I asked to not wear a headset while on bar because it was too loud, that she threw it onto the counter and stormed off. I have really bad auditory processing disorder and I can’t try to understand people talking and make drinks properly at the same time. She refused to acknowledge my autism as well as the physical disabilities I have.
