The most recent partner guide I have access to is from April 2020, so there may be minor changes, but sick time accrues at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. It begins accruing from the date of hire, and can be used immediately. Sick time accrues even using vacation hours, but those don't start accruing until after working for 12 months. The details are explained further on pages 53 and 54 of the guide.
You can only have a maximum of 520 sick hours carry over year to year, but good luck getting there because working 40 hours a week, you can only get 69.33 sick hours per year. So, after 7.5 years of working non-stop, you can use all your sick hours to cover your time spent in the hospital from your breakdown. Hope this helps.

You accure sick time. So you'll get one hour of sick pay for however many hours you work, I believe. Not sure about the exact amount of hours. I hope someone else can give you more info here. :)

How do you use the sick time?
medusas-garden4 points1y ago
You gotta write it in the book and your SM will input it. So like your name, partner numbers, an how much sick time you want to use

so you would have to come in after you were sick and write it in the book to make sure they are used? just making sure

Yeah pretty much. I’ve only called in sick once and this is how my SM told me to do it so I’d just check in with yours to be sure.

you immediately accrue sick time when hired. you get 1 hour of sick time per every 40 hours worked.
now for vacation time, you start accruing after 1 year of work and then you will earn 1 hour of vacation time for every 80 hours worked

The whole accruing vacation time after a year sucked. I’ve never had a job like that. I worked for other large companies, and it never worked like that.
