this doesn't really answer ur question because i didn't /make/ it, but one time a customer came in with a latte from another store that had chunks of kiwi inclusions steamed into the milk. they'd just ordered a plain latte, not even a mention of kiwi. the other store messed up big time and it had to be the grossest drink i've ever witnessed.

I made something with 14 pumps of vanilla syrup and 14 scoops of vanilla powder the other day. I honestly don’t remember what the rest of the drink was because I couldn’t get over how heavy the drink was after just those things alone, it felt like a brick. Something in a hot cup so I think it was a latte.

She ordered a second one two hours later and a coworker brought it over to me, like a “can you believe this?” When I told him this was her second one, we were like this girl definitely has cavities. There’s no way otherwise.

My grossest was three grande strawberry açaí refreshers with a double shot in each.

It tasted like if you ate an ashtray of menthol cigarettes and some strawberry candy, and then puked it all back out.

Truly every flavor note I just described. Acidic, vomit, ashtray, tabaco, strawberry, and it had a cooling effect like menthol. I didn’t even swallow it, and it burned all the way down my esophagus.

I shit you not, it was the worst thing I’ve ever tasted.

I mean, this isn’t the grossest persay, but I once had a guy order a venti iced white mocha that had 6 pumps of white mocha and 8 pumps of pumpkin.

I’ll never forget… less than an hour before close: Venti iced black tea lemonade with (WITH!!!) mango dragonfruit base, strawberry açaí base, kiwi starfruit base, and all three types of inclusions. Literally looked like vomit, especially with the kiwis in there.

It went to a full van that had several venti fraps with ridiculous customizations as well, but this one really stuck out to me

Subbing sweet cream in drinks is super common at my store, and the amount of syrups we put in a cup is insane. Several customers order a venti iced white mocha w caramel syrup, extra drizzle, sccf and made w sweet cream, and only 1 shot, or other weirdly similar requests. Like, just say you hate coffee and go

Part of my brain cannot compute why anyone would steam lemonade. I know it's not that outrageous or even gross to most barista, but when I realize I have to steam something called lemonade, being a HUGE fan of real iced fresh lemonade, I mentally and physically gag.

I have this one lady that comes in and orders a trenta passion tea with a splash of heavy cream. There’s also a girl that comes in and orders a venti black iced tea, add 3 scoops matcha powder. I’ve had someone order an iced black tea with matcha sccf. There’s a few other abominations that I can’t think of but people really love to torture me with matcha 🥲

there’s a guy who comes through our drivethru almost every night. he orders a venti iced white mocha made with whole milk, five shots, ten pumps of white mocha, and two packets of splenda. he also gets a quad shot on the side. making the drink makes me feel a little ill because all of that white mocha sauce doesn’t mix in super well, it just sits at the bottom of the cup. can’t imagine drinking that with a straw the way he does

We have a regular who comes in several times a week that gets a tall pike w/cream and 20 sugars in a grande cup. I really question his sanity and health. The most ridiculous I ever made was a trenta tea made with 20 pumps LCS and 24 FULL pumps of raspberry. The store had a half-pump on the raspberry so I had to put 48 pumps into the cup plus the LCS, and I have never forgotten the trauma of seeing a third of the cup filled with syrup
