Hi there! Recently I was made partner of the quarter at my store, and while doing a first sip with a trainee I noticed a partner of the quarter bonus being mentioned under the listed benefits. I haven’t heard anything about this, is that true?

Yes, when you are selected for POQ it's automatically added to your paycheck as a bonus. I think it's $75 but I could be wrong.
