Don’t work at a license store! I did for a year and it was horrible! No tips, shitty pay, no benefits, you loose your mark outs and sometimes have to work the Target floor instead of being a barista if they’re understaffed.

I went from Starbucks (home store was cafe only, and I assisted at drivethru stores) to a Tarbucks (in baton rouge, LA). I changed for a pay and hours increase. The tarbucks I worked at didnt prioritize cleaning, and staff / management was shared throughout the whole Target food department. They do not focus on the craft at all, no customer connections, and other target employees would just come back there and make their, own damn drinks and not pay, even during a rush.
I hated Tarbucks and would love to work for Starbucks again

i’ve gone from a corporate store to a licensed store (college campus). it’s a little different than a target because the employees tend to switch over every semester. i didn’t like it at all, i was a shift and the differences of doing everything by standard religiously to just trying to get people taken care of and out of there, the difference made me feel useless. i had all this knowledge that wasn’t useful anymore. i left after 4 months. it’s easier since (for me) the higher ups don’t really care about numbers or stats but nobody is trained like they are with a corporate store. both have their ups and downs, i just personally preferred having everything being done a certain way ya know
