It seems like the quality control has been an issue due to the pandemic. Before that, I don’t remember these type of manufacturing issues happening as often as they do now. Also, my store will run out of plastic straws for awhile.. then they’ll come back as paper straws.. then we won’t have any for awhile.. back to plastic eventually.. out again.. now they are compostable. Just seems inconsistent but maybe the company is working with new manufacturers (?)
