Omg I wish you could train me when I first started! Manager put me on the floor/bar on my first day, I was so scared, I don’t even know what pike, blonde, dark was… I felt super nervous! I was never trained one on one, everything I learned by asking, and they got pissed when I try to ask a question.
But to train someone is so easy, basically just imagine showing a friend how to do a certain based your knowledge, but be patient and informative, sometime people can ask silly questions

As someone who recently started working at Starbucks just assume they don’t know anything. When I was being trained my trainer wasn’t clear about the task each role has and I learned them as I worked shifts and SV would tell me what I needed to do. Luckily almost everyone at my store is patient and helpful so I learned quickly but just assume we don’t know anything.
