This is an amazing and under-utilized benefit - it is a reimbursement of up to $10,000 dollars for family expansion via adoption. Lots of paperwork and hoops, but an awesome benefit.

It was one of the first ones I noticed, I thought it was completely amazing. The one thing starbucks still does well is benefits. Hopefully that won't change.

They upped the benefit to $15,000 and you can get three weeks of paid time off for parental bonding! Honestly it's a very generous benefit, esp with the PTO. I was just rehired (268XXXX) and my manager went over every single benefit to make sure that we understood them. I can attest to them actually following through, a call to Sedgewick and they can guide you through everything you need to do.

Wait what!? Ok maybe I won’t quit after I get my degree. We want to adopt and are literally already saving so this would be a blessing
