This Saturday’s survival post (SSV POV) (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Zaria_1293
And I’ve survived another Saturday. Every week I remind myself how much I want to quit this job. I came in at 6am.. one bar’s pitcher rinser was flooding the floor every time we used it. One bar was leaking out of its side. One drain was slowly mysteriously leakin into the lobby. There was no mechanic, there was no milk, we were out of half our products and the lobby was full. We worked in a swap, 1 person no called no showed, another was hours late and customers chose violence today.. what happened in your Saturday Shit?

We had a call out and were doing a 4 person play with me on the bar for a good hour during peak, my manager finally showed up at 9ish and helped us for a few hours and then left once it cooled down but it was steady until I left; I ended up staying 30 mins late prepping stuff since we didn’t have time to prep earlier in the morning. We had a bunch of newbies today (between 1-2 months old) so that kind of contributed to why it felt chaotic!

Gotta love the new people running around not knowing at all what’s going on 😂

Our drive bar has been down for two days now. It doesn’t pull shots correctly if it pulls them at all.
