Yes!! I’ve gotten to the point where they make me cry sometimes because they treat me like I’m stupid. Honestly I just try to be super nice to them so hopefully it stops

Especially if you're a new hire!! I have a coworker who would talk to me like shit because I didn't know most of the drinks because I was new. Now I'm 2½ months into the job and I'm thinking about showing her the same disrespect.

Yes, I left my home store because I was being bullied and there was only so much my manager could do, I had to go back after 5/6 months due to not having a car and that store being walking distance and ever since I came back I’ve felt like I made a mistake because it’s the same issues all over again and let’s just say I requested a transfer again.

Yes. Literally my memory is super bad bc of my mental and physical illness’ so I feel like people perceive me as an airhead. And one of my SSV acts like a total jerk to me. Especially because I can’t remember how to make drinks and stuff. I wanted to cry so many times

I feel you on this one!! Sometimes I have to pause to kind of “reset” my brain to move onto next task. They *scream* at me to stock or wipe down. Every. Single. Time.
You’d think they’d get tired of being so rude all the time with no results! It doesn’t make us better workers, just stressed :(

Just one, and everyone else dislikes her. She tried to blame me for her attitude to a customer once but it didn’t work lol

A couple but one shift stands out the most . Shes so unpleasant to partners and customers, a bully. She yells , she rolls her eyes and is just a bitch. My SM keeps around because she practically runs the store. I’m always so close to snapping on her but I’d hate to get a separation note and lose my transgender partner benefits.

When I worked at Starbucks this pissed me off the most. My co-workers could be extremely rude or yell through the headset and I couldn't even be passive aggressive. Like wtf

Currently. Morning leads have worked for the company 5+ years each and have little patience for the greenbeans. I’m learning to be a bit less sensitive to their attitudes, but they snap a lot and demand things in the middle of my tasks.
Plus, come 11:00 they’re both hanging by register chatting it up w one person on bar and not paying attention to oven 🙄 Like we haven’t all been there since 5:00 AM

Yes, and I've spoken to my SM about the fact that he is so flat out mean to customers that he's likely to start a physical altercation one day. He is passive aggressive and mean to all of the baristas, and is a lowkey misogynistic incel. Hope he gets pushed out with the influx of new hires we are getting

Yes and they were voted partner of the quarter. Ugh

I had an old coworker who was a dm that stepped down to barista. They made my life a living hell every shift and nobody- not even shifts or asm/sm- did anything about it.

Fuck Starbucks. No matter what Starbucks I go to they ALWAYS give me attitude despite how nice I am to everyone. I’m a little shy but talk when I feel I should and I talk when people engage me. I’m basically the Jimmy Carter of a customer. There’s no reason anyone should be mean and disrespectful towards me but EVERY Starbucks I go to they ALWAYS do a 360 on me days later and sometimes months later. This one location in particular would always give me bad vibes but I’d go there anyway cause it was a good morning walk and I got my coffee. They’d glare at me, glare and look down to ignore me, or just ignore me in general and I was a regular. I had my last day there today. Some people would just pretend to be busy just to ignore me, others would gossip and give me jester looks, they always made me feel like I was a stranger each day I went in or made me feel like I was a weirdo, a freak and I was a REGULAR! Always nice and tipped and everything! Today this lady gave me shit cause I was 50 cents short when I miscounted and the vibe I got when I left was as if I wasn’t welcomed at all, like they didn’t want me there. Between that and another glare from another asshole barista I was DONE! “Well I already made your coffee.” Yeah bitch 50 cents! You gave me shit over 50 fucking cents! After all the days and tips I’d give! Fuck you! I spent thousands of dollars on that last location I went for a whole year! And they always treated me like a stranger each time I went in! Most of them didn’t even know my name! IM A REGULAR! THATS RIDICULOUS! AND THATS AWFUL FOR BUSINESS! I’ve been a regular at some pretty shitty Starbucks stores but this one was the worst! Fuck Starbucks!

Yep since day one. I've had a male manager put his hands all over me and I'm a dude. I didn't like that very much, I wonder why. But since he was my store managers favorite I was the one that was alienated.
This is why I hope for a union to happen. Cause then store and district managers can't play favorites anymore or shit all over people they don't like cause they drink their coffee with soy milk.
Unionize and they'll all start behaving like real adults.
